Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance has been protecting its clients against the failure of debtors since 2004 and in 2009 provided cover for in excess of £2.5 billion worth of sales in the UK and Europe. In 2008 Commercial Finance together with Chartis UK decided to launch the Debtor Insurance product to the wider the business community, offering the joint expertise of LloydsTSB Commercial Finance and Chartis UK to help protect business against the failure of their customers.
Martin Walmsley – Head of Debtor Insurance
Martin formed the Debtor Insurance team in 2007 building on the success of the Debtor Protection product, offered to asset finance clients, over the preceeding four years. Martin works closely with Chartis UK to ensure we can offer our clients the right level of protection at a realistic and competitive price. Losses are inevitable, especially in today's financial climate, when one of our Clients customers does fail the team make sure that the focus is on paying the insured loss with the minimum of fuss.
Jenny Heath – Debtor Insurance Client Manager
Jenny joined the company in 1986 and has worked in several roles across the business, most recently leading a substantial team in a client facing role. She joined the Debtor Insurance team in February 2009 as Client Manager. Jenny's role is to provide support for our existing clients whilst also providing day to day advice and quotations to new and existing businesses.
Hazel Hunt – Debtor Insurance Analyst
Hazel has worked for the company since August 1988. She joined the Credit department in 1995 and is a founding member of the Debtor Protection Team formed in 2004.
In May 2007 Hazel became part of the specialised Debtor Insurance Team and continues to offer her experience of trade credit within the role. Hazel is responsible for dealing with any new enquiries as well as offering support to existing customers with the policy already in place.
Rossella Richardson - Debtor Insurance Analyst
Rossella joined the team in March 2010, having worked for the Lloyds Banking Group for 12 years, she brings with her a broad experience in relationship management. Rossella's aim is to fully contribute to the success of the team by offering an efficient and effective response to our existing or prospective Debtor Insurance policy holders. Rossella's appointment reflects the growing demand for Trade Credit Insurance and our commitment to meeting that demand.
Ben Durrant – Debtor Insurance Client Manager
Ben has worked within the Debtor Protection Team since it's inception in 2004 and became part of the team for the launch of Debtor Insurance to non Invoice-Finance clients in 2007. He brings 9 years experience of risk assessment to the team, 4 of which have been gained in the Credit Insurance market. Ben is a front-line point of contact offering support to both existing clients and prospects alike. Along with Jenny, Ben supports existing clients and provides quotations to new and existing businesses.
Claire Morris – Debtor Insurance Analyst
Claire has worked in a variety of financial services roles over the 5 years and joined the team in January 2008. Claire handles both new business and supports clients who require general assistance or who have claim queries. Claire has built a good reputation with both clients and the team with her helpful and thorough approach.
Josh Burns – Debtor Insurance Analyst
Josh joined the Debtor Insurance team in early 2009 bringing with him the varied portfolio of experience in the credit insurance industry gained with a major UK insurer. Josh is on hand to help you through the quotation process or to answer any questions you may have and has extensive experience helping clients understand insurance polices and obtaining the cover they need through the policy.
Darren Jones – Debtor Insurance Analyst
Darren recently joined the Debtor Insurance Team in April 2009 bringing with him 9 years experience working in a variety of roles in the financial sector. Darren role is to both provide support for our existing clients whilst also providing quotations to new customers; His objective is to make the whole process of obtaining and running a Trade Credit Insurance policy as simple and effective as possible ensuring the maximum cover is available to our policy holders.
James Alexander – Debtor Insurance Analyst
James joined the Debtor Insurance team in April 2009 bringing 9 years experience in Commercial and Consumer financial services. James also has extensive experience in both a Broker and Underwriter capacity in a variety Insurance Markets. James' role is to provide a day to day point of contact, prepare quotations and build relationships with both new and existing Trade Credit Insurance policy holders.
